Support Awataha Marae
Awataha Marae ki te Whenua Roa o Kahu is a living, working marae on the North Shore of Tāmaki Makaurau. We are a place of culture, learning, and service — supporting our people through education, food security, creative pathways, employment training, and community resilience.
Unlike many organisations, we are not government funded. The work we do is driven by kaupapa, commitment, and community — not guaranteed funding streams. Every programme we run, from Pātaka Kai to Mana Rangatahi, from Whare Auaha to emergency response, exists because people choose to support it.
Your donation directly enables this work to continue.
Donating is simple.
You can choose which programme you would like to support — just include the name of that programme in your payment reference, and we will ensure your contribution goes exactly where you intend it to.
Every koha, no matter the size, strengthens our ability to serve, to teach, and to stand for our community.
Kua tau ki Awataha — together, we build something that lasts.
