As the year draws to a close, Awataha Marae has partnered with the Auckland City Mission to stand up a dedicated End-of-Year Community Hub — delivering food support and Christmas presents to whānau across the North Shore.

This initiative builds on a shared commitment: ensuring no family goes without during one of the most important times of the year.

A Hub of Manaakitanga

Operating from Awataha Marae, the hub brings together volunteers, partners, and community networks to coordinate:

Food hamper distribution for whānau in need
Christmas presents for tamariki
Efficient click-and-collect systems to manage demand with dignity
On-site support delivered in a safe, welcoming environment
